In this case, the dynamics characteristics (Frequency Response Functions) of the test rig measured by physical test transforms to equivalent vibrational FE model with some constrains. Furthermore, conducting simulation by combining the dynamics characteristics of the rig FE model and the brake disk FE model improves accuracy of the simulation substantially.

In order to improve the accuracy of simulation model, it is necessary to build a model of test rig, however, it takes quite some time and man-hour to create FE model and validate its accuracy if drawings or CAD data of the rig is difficult to obtain.
