Summary

The gas vaporized from fuel tank of a vehicle leads to generate urban ozone. In order to minimize the vaporization, it is necessary to reduce the inflow heat quantity to the fuel tank and/or control to optimize thermal distribution of fuel in the tank.
Therefore, improved fuel tank structure is proposed by simulating the heat balance surrounding the tank and studying impact of various relevant factors.
