Break Squeal Noise Analysis
Summary
The noise is generated by self-induced vibration of a brake system caused by the friction. A number of contact and sliding structure of automobile brake system make it difficult to create computer model for dynamic analysis, however, complex eigenvalue stability analysis by the brake system FE model which combines with equation of friction provides design guide.
In addition, ESTECH developed original software to understand easily the output of complex eigenvalue analysis, which is a commercial software product named ESTECH.Squeal
