MBD in ESTECH Way
Summary
When designing a mechanical product, it is most important to set the specification of each part after making a reasonable design based on the essence of the mechanism and structure, so-called, “Design with Good Features”.
CAE is substantially effective to define design parameters for optimizing the design, however, the CAE has not been commonly used in concept design phase to work out “Design with Good Features” until recent years.
The consulting by the company establishes high quality design at early stage without reworking to allocate optimized functions by applying MBD (Model Based Development) approach to kinematic mechanism design, structural design, and noise & vibration problems of mechanical product.
Providing Services
The company is primarily providing the following services.
- Linking from 1D model to 3D model
Development of functional model at the upper process of analysis which includes 1D and basic characteristics to reflect to its precise model or development of technique to do it.
- Development of 1D/3D model set which characterizes necessary
attributes and makes it possible to be linked mutually.
- Development of technique and tool set which rolls out to precise
attributes from integrated expressions of function/characteristics
with 1D.
- Reduction to 1D model from 3D precise model
Model reduction to 1D from precise 3D model for 1D simulation.
- Development of 1D model with high accuracy as well as
low DOF in order to execute control analysis and/or apply it to real
time simulator by reduction of 3D model based on the mechanism
of the actual phenomenon.
- Development of 1D model
1D analytical modeling which consists of multiple domains such as control, electric circuit, actuator, machine and sensor for feedback.
- Reduction from precise models of kinematic mechanism,
structural, vibration and electromagnetic field analyses.
- Development of 1D model including control and/or electrical
characterization.
