ESTECH.PRIMESPEC
Feature
- Calculate engine rigid body excitation forces under operation condition.
- Calculate kinematic motion of primary parts of a reciprocal internal combustion engine, translational forces, moments and crankshaft output torque fluctuations induced by combustion pressure for each order tracking component.
- Additionally, inserting primary specifications of engine inertia properties and engine mounting specifications enable engineer to calculate rigid body vibration of a power plant of a vehicle.
- As far as the combustion pressure is concerned, external data measured by physical test as well as data calculated by the optional function of the software are used.
- Since whole operations are conducted on Microsoft Excel, which is from inputting design specification to analyzing output, even non-CAE specialist can easily use it for design studies.

Application Example
- Design study of primary specifications of dominant moving parts as well as layout of cylinders of a reciprocal internal combustion engine
- Design and layout study of an engine balancer shaft
- Design and layout study of engine mounting system
- Calculate loads to an engine crank pin
- Combining the engine model (mass and forces) with kinematic mechanism analysis vehicle model or FE vehicle model makes it possible to simulate noise & vibration phenomena such as booming noise and idle shake
