ESTECH.NAST+

English

ESTECH.NAST+

Feature

  • Enhance functions of MSC Nastran by applying mode coordinate transformation scheme. Structure modification analysis, simplified mode generation(MDS option), principal mode analysis(PMA option) and trim parts modeling function with both noise absorbing and insulating characteristic are added to MSC Nastran.
  • Making full use of these functions enables engineer to conduct design study effectively because handling of a large size FE model in dynamic analysis and analyzing the results become easier.

Overview

Name ESTECH.NAST+
Functions: Selective by options
  • Basic Function: Modal model creation in bulk data format, which is dynamic reduction model and much easier to handle comparing to super element model.
  • MDS: Modal differential structural model creation which is developed by eliminating dynamic characteristics from the output of eigenvalue analysis of total structure model. Connecting the structure of modified portion makes it possible to calculate dynamic characteristics of the structure after high speed modification.
  • PMA: Principal modes extraction to show deformation patterns (principal modes) in order which appear the most frequently if the excitation point is restricted.
  • Trim: Modeling of vibration insulating characteristics of floor carpet and/or dashboard insulator with heavy layer which is not able to be modeled by ordinary acoustic impedance element (CAABSF).
  • Recovery: Properties of inner points of reduced modal model (invisible nodes by reduction) recovery, which makes it possible to calculate displacement and energy distribution of inner points from the output of modal differential structural and modal models.
  • Structure-Acoustic: Acoustic and structure coupling model creation, which is a small size model comparing to create modal model individually because coupling plane properties are also reduced the vibration and acoustic coupling coefficient (VAC: Index to define cancellation degree of sound pressure response) is also able to be calculated.
  • Modal Panel: Simulate panel deformation which controls to generate sound from the panel when panel contribution analysis is conducted in acoustic and structure coupling analysis. Modal model is also generated which calculates panel contribution ratio by combining with acoustic and structure coupling modal model.
