Challenge: Find inertia properties of a structure as accurate as possible
Motion analysis of a structure always requires inertia properties of the structure such as mass, center of gravity, principal axis of inertia and principal moment of inertia.
In reality, however, the following pains come up very often.
- No CAD data which require to measure the properties by test.
- Insufficient accuracy of measured inertia properties by two points lifting sling method.
- Principal moment of inertia (Product of inertia) is not able to be obtained by legacy method using the moment of inertia measuring platform.
How to resolve pains:

- Excite a structure by impact hammer and identify the inertia properties from the mass line of the frequency response curve.
